Glassmont Development Model House

This photo shows South Jersey Gas Company executive Jim Walker next to a sign for the Glassmont Development, which was built by the Glassmont Builders. This development is located behind the Glassboro Intermediate School at the approximate map coordinates 39.708706, -75.105939.

The houses in this development were connected to the natural gas line, which was not previously offered in Glassboro. The Glassmont Builders built numerous houses. The Borough likely brought them in as part of urban renewal after the Great Depression.
